Today Naughty Tesla received its first visit from a Mobile Service technician.
A Tesla Mobile Service technician paid a visit to our beloved Model 3 today. It was convenient, easy, and painless. The Tesla technician performed the following services to our Tesla Model 3:
- A-Pillar Interior Trim Replacement Attempted
- Driver Side Saggy Underside Weatherstrip Fixed
- Driver Side Uneven Carpet Trim Fixed
- Right Tealight Alignment Issue Attempted
I was present while the Tesla Mobile Service technician worked on the car. I stayed out of his way, of course. Based on my observations, all the work he was doing seem pretty straight forward and easy. The replacement A-Pillar Interior Trim he brought with him was in worse shape than the one the car came with. The saggy underside weatherstrip was corrected with a slap in place. The uneven driver side carpet trim was another easy fix. All he did was lift the carpet trim and pulled it into the correct placement. As for the right taillight alignment issue, he said he would have to order a whole taillight assembly as it is best to change the whole assembly to correct the problem.
Final Thoughts
I had a good experience with the Tesla Mobile Service technician. As I mentioned above, it was convenient. Not having to drive to the nearest Tesla Service Center is a win for me. I look forward to my second appointment!
